When you use Ifá Discovery we collect: your name, date of birth, place of birth, the responses you provide in the intake form, your email address, and payment information processed during checkout.

If you use the Ifá Discovery iOS app, the same data applies. Additionally, if you grant notification permission, your device push notification token is stored solely for the purpose of delivering your daily Odù wisdom notification. This token is not used for advertising or shared with third parties.

The Ifá Discovery app also uses CatDoes Watch, an error monitoring tool, to help us identify and fix bugs. This tool automatically collects anonymous crash and error logs, including the error message, stack trace, device model, operating system version, app version, screen resolution, battery level, and a short history of screen navigation leading up to the error. It also collects your IP address, which is used for rate limiting and to determine your approximate city and country (coarse location) so we can identify regional issues. This data is not linked to your name, email, or account, and is used solely to maintain and improve app stability.

Your information is used to generate your personalised report, deliver it to you by email, and provide access to your private report page. If you opt in, we may also use your name and email to send you marketing communications about Ifá Discovery, including new features, offers, and content. You can opt out of marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing hello@ifadiscovery.com. Opting out of marketing does not affect your ability to use the report service. We do not use your data for profiling, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given at the point you submit the intake form, create an account, or request a report. You may withdraw consent at any time by requesting deletion of your data.

Your intake responses are processed by Anthropic's Claude API in order to generate your personalised report. This processing is essential to providing the service you have requested.

Anthropic's own privacy policy applies to that processing. For full detail on how we use AI, see our AI Use Policy.

Anthropic (Claude API): your intake responses are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your report. By submitting an intake you acknowledge that your answers are processed by a third-party AI service.

Stripe: handles all payment processing. We do not store your card details.

Resend: delivers your report and transactional emails to your inbox.

Supabase: provides secure database and authentication infrastructure. Your account details, saved Odù entries, and personal reports are stored in Supabase's encrypted database hosted in the EU. Supabase's own privacy policy applies to that storage.

Hotjar / Contentsquare: anonymous analytics used on our website only. These tools are not integrated into the Ifá Discovery iOS app.

CatDoes Watch: provides error monitoring and crash reporting for the app. Collects anonymous device and error data as described above. Data is transmitted securely and stored on CatDoes' servers. It is not sold or shared for advertising or tracking purposes.

Intake data and reports are held for 12 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted unless you have requested otherwise.

If you have opted in to marketing communications, we retain your marketing consent status until you withdraw it or request deletion of your data.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@ifadiscovery.com. We will action requests within 30 days.

We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.
