Ifá Discovery

About Ifá Discovery

A word from the founder:

Greetings, and welcome.

My name is Pris. I am Yorùbá, born in Nigeria and raised in the United Kingdom. The tradition you find here is not something I studied from the outside. It is the inheritance I was born into, carried across generations and across oceans, and it lives in me as memory more than learning alone.

I built Ifá Discovery for the people standing where so many of us have stood. Drawn toward something ancestral and true, feeling the pull of it, but without a clear doorway in. The tradition was scattered within history. Many of us were never handed the map to find our way back. I wanted to make something that helps with the beginning of that journey, offered with honesty and care.

Why Ifá Discovery

There is a great deal of confusion, and sadly a great deal of exploitation, around Yorùbá spirituality online. I wanted to build a place where the tradition is honoured with integrity. Not sensationalised, not sold as a quick fix, and not stripped of its depth.

Your personalised report is a starting point, a doorway, not a replacement for initiation or for the guidance of a living Babaláwo or Ìyánífá. It is for the seeker who wants to understand themselves through the lens of this tradition and to walk toward it with respect. My hope is that it sets people off on a path of genuine discovery, and that it always points back toward the living tradition and its teachers. Àṣẹ

What I promise

  • To honour the tradition, its Òrìṣà, its Odù, and the lineages of Babaláwo and Ìyánífá who carried it through centuries of suppression.
  • To always point you toward deeper study and living practitioners, never to position this as a substitute for them.
  • To hold what you share with care, discretion, and respect for the sacredness of the journey you are on.

Help shape what this becomes

Ifá Discovery is growing, and I want it to become a true hub of resources for seekers, drawing on my own work and on the wisdom of other Yorùbá traditionalists I respect. If there is something you would like to see here, a resource, a teaching, a kind of guidance, I would genuinely love to hear from you.

Write to me at hello@ifadiscovery.com. Your thoughts help shape this space into something that serves the community well.

Wherever you are on your path, you are welcome here. Take your time. The tradition has waited a long time for you. It can wait a little longer while you find your footing.
